Paying your Rental Bond
What is a bond?
Before your arrival, we require you to complete your rental bond payment.
A rental bond is a security deposit that is held by the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA)and is paid back to you at the end of your lease, provided no money is owed to the propertymanager for rent, damages or other costs. We require a rental bond equivalent to 4-weeksrent.

You are required to sign the Bond Lodgement Form (RTA Form 2) on a lease agreement and complete a bond payment before the commencement of your lease. If payment is not made by the your arrival date, your booking will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
Once payment is received, UniLodge Park Central will lodge the bond to RTA on your behalf. Following successful lodgement, you will receive an acknowledgement/confirmation email directly from the RTA.
NEW RESIDENTS
You are required to submit payment for your bond through the online payment link which will be sent to you in a separate email. Once payment is received, UniLodge Park Central will lodge the bond to RTA on your behalf. Following successful lodgement, you will receive a confirmation email from RTA.
RENEWAL RESIDENTS
If you are currently a resident with us and renew your lease, the bond paid at the start of the current lease will be transferred to the renewal lease. If the rent for your renewal lease has increased or will increase, you are required to top up your bond. This top-up can be paid at reception. If you require alternative payment options, please contact us for further information.
DUAL TENANCY
If there are two (2) occupants in the room or on the lease agreement, both residents must sign a Bond Lodgement form. The full bond will be lodged only under the main occupant’s name. If the contribution amount between the two of you requires adjusting, please contact the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA) directly following bond lodgement.
